This program aims to foster professional growth, cultural exchange, and networking opportunities for professionals in the social work, social welfare, and human services fields.

Participants gain firsthand experience observing various social, political, and cultural systems, offering opportunities for hands-on training or activities during the program.

Each program typically accommodates 3-10 participants.

A distinctive aspect of an IPEP is the inclusion of Host Family Living. Volunteer host families provide a supportive environment for participants, enabling cultural exchange, relaxation, and creating lasting friendships.


Participants get to experience daily life and cultural nuances, forming connections beyond professional boundaries.

The program is tailored for professionals in the social work, social welfare, and human services fields looking to expand their knowledge, skills, and global network.

Application requirements:

  • Educational background in social work, human services, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in these fields.
  • Proficiency in the language of the IPEP program is required. Some programs may necessitate proficiency in the country's language, while others accept English as the primary language.
  • Interview by the CIF or CIP branch in your country. Contact CIF International at [email protected] if there's no local branch for interview guidance.
